If we’ve never met, my name is Charis. I’m a mother to the most wonderful five year old in the whole world. He is my light at the end of the tunnel, my bread and butter, my sweetest of sweet dreams…there’s nothing I would change about this amazing little man.
It can be challenging to separate yourself as a mother, and as an individual. Right now I am working on finding out more about who I was before motherhood, and who I am now. Being a mother is a huge part of my identity but – as I’m learning – it is not the only thing I am.
I haven’t buried who I was or found who I am, but more so I am remembering that I can be both.

We love to be out of the house. I love finding new activities to do, whether it’s a new playground, a festival, or a mountain to hike, we like to be busy doing new and exciting things.
